Growing up in Washington, D.C., Kate began singing at age 5 and hasn’t stopped since. Her broad musical experience includes choral soloist, song leader, acoustic guitarist and songwriter, and children's choir leader. Her professional a cappella vocal trio Trinitas performed throughout the Maryland/DC area including multiple programs at the Washington National Cathedral. Kate has recently returned to her folk repertoire, writing her own songs and playing favorites by Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Gordon Bok, David Mallett, Bob Franke and many others. She currently lives in Severna Park, MD outside of Annapolis in the winter, with 4+ summer months in lovely Deer Isle, Maine (o4627)
