Kate Caldwell
Singer Songwriter, Acoustic Guitarist

Growing up in Washington, D.C., Kate began singing at age 5 and hasn’t stopped since. Her broad musical experience includes choral soloist, song leader, acoustic guitarist and songwriter, and children's choir leader. Her professional a cappella vocal trio Trinitas performed throughout the Maryland/DC area including multiple programs at the Washington National Cathedral. Following a career in Fund Raising and Development, Kate has returned to her folk repertoire, writing her own songs and playing favorites by Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, David Mallett, Bob Franke and many others. She currently lives in Severna Park, MD outside of Annapolis in the winter, with 4+ summer months in lovely Deer Isle, Maine (o4627) And stay tuned for Kate’s upcoming CD of folk favorites!

Kate is the author of several children's picture book manuscripts, two of which are set in Cameroon, W. Africa where she lived as a child. Check out the My Writing tab for more info.
